Gigs turns your concert history into a personal live music archive

A new app called Gigs aims to help live music fans organize their concert memories. The iOS app uses Apple's on-device AI to extract information from photos and videos taken at events, as well as imported tickets, emails, and website links. Users can add concerts to the app by linking their accounts with services like Setlist.fm or Concert Archives, or manually inputting details.

Once concerts are added, users can view their event history, sync dates to their calendar, and receive ticket sale reminders. The app also includes features such as rating shows, uploading photos and videos, and tracking concert statistics through a dashboard. Milestones and achievements are also included, allowing users to celebrate their concert-going progress.

Gigs is free to download, with in-app purchases starting at $2.99/month for additional features like data export, unlimited storage, and support for importing concert history from other services. A yearly subscription of $19.99 or a bundle deal with the music discovery app NowPlaying are also available.

The app's developer, Hidde van der Ploeg, previously worked on several mobile applications, including Petey and NowPlaying. Gigs is designed to help live music fans revisit their favorite concert memories and gain insights into their event history.
