Hightouch reaches $100M ARR fueled by marketing tools powered by AI

Hightouch, a seven-year-old startup, has launched an AI-powered service that allows marketers to create custom content for brands without involving design teams or ad agencies. The platform connects directly to customers' existing creative tools, such as Figma and photo libraries, to "learn" their brand identity. This enables Hightouch's AI agents to build personalized ad campaigns autonomously.

Since introducing its AI product 20 months ago, Hightouch has added $70 million in annualized recurring revenue (ARR), bringing the startup's total ARR to $100 million. Co-CEO Kashish Gupta credits Generative AI for making it possible for marketers without extensive design skills to create high-quality assets.

Hightouch's approach goes beyond standard AI models by incorporating specific brand knowledge and avoiding generic or fake-looking content. For example, Domino's will only use existing images of their pizzas in ads, rather than generating new ones. The company has raised an $80 million Series C funding round led by Sapphire Ventures, valuing it at $1.2 billion.

Hightouch now employs approximately 380 people and has seen significant success with its AI-powered service. Co-CEOs Kashish Gupta and Tejas Manohar have stated that the platform is on track to continue growing and expanding its offerings in the market.
