Nvidia chases $200B CPU market with AI agent PCs from Microsoft, Dell, and HP

Nvidia Unveils "Superchip" RTX Spark at Computex Trade Show Nvidia announced a new PC CPU called the RTX Spark, dubbed a "superchip," which will power AI PCs from top manufacturers. The chip has a 1-petaflop processing speed and is designed to run secure AI agents like OpenClaw or Hermes Agent.

The RTX Spark Windows PCs will be available this fall from ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft Surface, and MSI, with Acer and Gigabyte models to follow. These PCs will feature secure sandboxes developed jointly with Microsoft to run agents safely, as well as enough CPU, GPU, RAM, and Nvidia CUDA software to run local versions of large language models.

Nvidia's RTX technology is expected to deliver faster performance for AI, better image quality, and support for AI features in over 1,000 games and applications. More than 100 Windows software makers have signed on to support the new chip, including Adobe, Blender, ComfyUI, Riot Games, and Xbox.

The launch of RTX Spark marks a significant expansion of Nvidia's market, targeting creators making AI content as well as gamers. With prices still unknown, these PCs may sit at the high end of the market or compete with affordable options like the Mac Mini.
