Strategy

White-Label

Product built by one company, branded by another

Definition

A white-label product is built by one company and rebranded and resold by another under their own name. In SaaS, white-labeling is a distribution strategy — the builder scales without marketing, and the reseller adds a product without building.

📌 Example

Many email marketing platforms white-label Mailgun or SendGrid for their underlying delivery infrastructure. The customer sees only the reseller's brand.
